08.30-16:00 Patients can self-refer via telephone during opening hours by calling 020 7188 4336 and will receive a triage call from one of our clinicians, within an hour, to advise appropriate next steps. Referrers should call 020 7188 4336 and will be transferred to a clinician to discuss referral. Once accepted, inform patient to attend the Rapid Access Eye Clinic (Ground Floor, St Thomas' Hospital South Wing) with referral letter. Out of hours - ophthalmologist on call available for advice via switchboard. Out of hours – patient should attend general A&E if true emergency.
